HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK A PHOTOGRAPHER?
For small events it is recommended to book at least 1-2 months in advance but is not mandatory. Popular dates can fill quickly, so it's always best to inquire as soon as you've secured your venue.
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE RECEIVE?
The number of images varies depending on the length of coverage and the events of the day. Every gallery is carefully curated to ensure you receive a beautiful collection of professionally edited images that tell the complete story of your special day.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY GALLERY?
Galleries are typically delivered within the timeframe outlined in your contract. Once your gallery is complete, you'll receive a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share your images.
DO YOU TRAVEL FOR EVENTS?
Yes! Travel is available for events both within and outside of Pennsylvania. Additional travel fees may apply depending on the location.
DO YOU BRING BACKUP EQUIPMENT?
Absolutely. Professional backup cameras, lenses, memory cards, batteries, and lighting equipment are always available to ensure your special day is documented without interruption.
ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes. Kayy Potter Photography carries professional business insurance for added peace of mind. Many venues require photographers to provide proof of insurance, and documentation can be provided upon request.
CAN WE PROVIDE A SHOT LIST?
Yes. While I work to capture your day naturally and creatively, a family formal list is highly encouraged to ensure important family members and special groupings are not overlooked.
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO RESERVE OUR EVENT DATE?
A signed contract and non-refundable retainer are required to officially reserve your event date. Dates are booked on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be held without both items being completed.
DO YOU WORK WITH A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?
Depending on your package and event size, a second photographer or assistant may be available to help ensure even more moments and details are captured throughout your celebration.
DO YOU OFFER VIDEOGRAPHY SERVICES?
While I do not personally provide videography services, I work alongside talented videographers and would be happy to recommend someone who may be a great fit for your special day.
